We are currently seeking an experienced office and HR administrator to join our growing team and drive our organisational efficiency. To achieve success in the role you will need to work in an organised manner, have good attention to detail and a desire to support others to be their most effective.
**The Role**
As a Senior Administrator, you will work with our People, Finance and Performance department, supporting the team to achieve their objectives. You will split your time assisting with administration in Health and Safety, Facilities management, HR and Finance as needed. As the organisation grows, you may have the opportunity to expand in a particular department and take on more responsibilities.
As part of this role, you will be expected to:
- In relation to Health & Safety: Comply with HSE systems, complete and maintain basic training, and risk identification reports
- Provide Health and safety training to new employees
In relation to HR:
- Assist in production of bi-weekly newsletter
- Arrange set up of new starters laptops/IT equipment
- Organise company social events
- Assist scheduling of meetings, catering, and special department-related events
In relation to Facilities:
- Perform administrative tasks on our facilities register ensuring annual or monthly tasks are completed
- Book maintenance appointments as and when required
- Ensure office facilities are regularly monitored and maintained (extinguishers, alarms, electrics)
- Direct workmen and contractors to the sites of repair and maintenance work;
- Ensure company vehicles are taxed, insured and meet H&S requirements
- In relation to general admin: Maintain files and databases for functional areas and other locations as assigned
- Ensure company insurance policies are updated and renewed where necessary
**Experience & Qualifications required**
- Strong administrator skills, ideally in a senior role (at least 5 years)
- Confident in using Microsoft packages
- The ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines
- The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands, and prioritise tasks and workload
- The ability to work effectively within a team
- High level of accuracy and reporting
- Great communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality
- Use of ATS systems (desirable)
- A love to organising and supporting others to be more effective
- Passion for sustainability and making a difference
**Package**
- **Salary of £23,000 - £26,000 (dependent on experience)
