**Numeracy Lead - SEN School - Hillingdon**

A SEN school in the Borough of Hillingdon are looking to recruit a Numeracy Lead for an ASAP start.

This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced teacher who can provide positive and stimulating learning experiences for students, whilst working in partnership with families and the school community.

The school caters for children and young people between the ages of 7 - 19 with additional learning needs. It offers day and residential provision to students with a diverse range of needs including moderate to severe and complex learning needs, sensory processing difficulties and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders.

- Working in a SEN school
- Leading Numeracy as part of the school’s Middle Leadership Team
- Plan, co-ordinate and quality assure Maths across the school
- Preparing students for examinations and assessments
- Full time and permanent contract - employed by the school
- ASAP start
- Outer London pay scale - MPS / UPS + SEN + TLR2
- Located in the borough of Hillingdon

**Person Specification - Numeracy Lead**
- **Must have UK QTS**
- A strong academic background - GCSEs, A Levels and a degree from a reputable university
- Good written feedback of performance management in previous roles
- Experience of or a real passion for working with children and students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Good team player
- Excellent communication and organisation skills with a practical approach to engaging pupils
- Willing to go above and beyond for students with SEN
