Description Description Job summaryAmazon Vulnerability Management and Remediation (VMR) is looking for a Security Engineer to join our Vulnerability Discovery Operations team. VMR is responsible for the discovery, assessment, triage, and remediation ofvulnerabilities across Amazon. As a Security Engineer in VMR Discovery, you will play a hands-on role in the proactive identification and remediation of security issues at Amazon. You will be part of a global-scale vulnerability discovery servicesupporting a diverse technical ecosystem. Your teammates are an international group of security engineers, software developers, and technical program managers dedicated to continuously raising the security bar.Key job responsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:Hands-onmanagement and operations of Amazon’s global vulnerability discovery tools and infrastructureSupport internal customers and partner security teams with vulnerability discovery service requests.Manage relationships and projects with VMR’s partner software developmentteams and security vendors.Continuously improve, extend, and automate vulnerability discovery capabilitiesPeriodic on-call responsibilities.Candidates for this role must be within commuting distance of the Amazon Infosec office in London, UK.
