**Director of Contract Delivery (Scotland), With You - Permanent, Remote, UK Wide**

**Ideal location - Glasgow/Edinburgh**

We are currently working with a national charity that provides free, confidential support to people experiencing issues with drugs, alcohol or mental health. With over 80 local services in England and Scotland they support people with drug, alcohol and mentalhealth issues, and their friends and family.

This is an extremely exciting position for a **Director of Contract Delivery** that is looking to make a difference to the lives of potentially over 100,000 people a year.

We are supporting them in the recruitment of their **Director of Contract Delivery**to enable With You to become sector leaders, significantly ahead of other providers in drug and alcohol dependence in adults.

**This will require you to**:
Meet and exceed the contract requirements and build strong multi-level relationships with the commissioning organisation and their influencers such that the contracts are retained and commissioners champion With You. Work closely with Operational ServiceDirectors and Clinical leads to ensure the contract performance and delivery is of the highest standard and drive forward service improvement plans where required to create noticeable and measurable impact in your area.

Please note that this role is remote and you will be expected to work flexibly, travelling when required.

**Main responsibilities / duties for the Director of Contract Delivery**

**Accountability and leadership**

? Provide clear direction and inspirational leadership on contract performance to the Operational and Clinical leadership team.

? Be an effective manager of people both through direct line management of implementation leads and administration support and the relationship of non-line management reports.

? Responsibility for internal and external contract management meetings from a National to contract level.

? Ensure that all staff know and understand the contract in which they operate and their part to play in radically improving outcomes and growing capacity.

? Motivate and develop teams across the organisation and develop your own team of managers to fulfil their potential, bringing in new talent as appropriate. Develop succession plans and nurture and develop a diversity of talent in your teams.

? Model the culture, values, behaviours and leadership skills within the guiding principles of We Are With You to create an environment in which people can be their most productive.

? As part of the Senior Leadership team, be proactive in communications and engagement across the organisation to motivate staff and engage people in delivering our strategy and goals.

**Contract performance management**

? Understand the contractual requirements of our commissioned services and the priorities of our commissioners and the environment in which we operate in.

? Interrogate our performance data and metrics to drive decision making and improve performance. ? Manage internal relationships to coordinate and implement service development and improvement.

? Leadership, oversight, monitoring and assessing the impact of improvement plans where required in partnership with operational and clinical services to ensure the contract performance and delivery is of the highest standard.

? Lead on the implementation of new strategies, innovation and sector developments to support business growth within the new business and contract retention team.

? To safeguard and protect the children, young people and adults that we work with by adhering closely to With You’s policies and procedures at all times and sharing any concerns immediately.

**Commissioner Relationships**

? You will be a consistent relationship for local commissioners from point of tender, to implementation and throughout the life of the contract (whole contract cycle).

? You will build strong, long-lasting relationships with commissioners and their network of influence to understand their drivers, motivations and ambition for local services.

? Develop strategic relationships with partners and other relevant organisation to ensure contracts are delivered collaboratively and integrated within local systems.

? Lead, develop and coordinate whole system relationships with stakeholders at a local, regional and national level to support the delivery of effective care.

? Ability to articulate and evidence the impact of With You service delivery to stakeholders.

**Finance**

? Ensure all contracts deliver a minimum of a 1% margin across the lifetime of the contract.

? Provide accurate forecasts to finance leads that are informed by future service delivery on income and margin.

? Work alongside Business Development Managers to model and deliver growth of services in current contract areas.

**General responsibilities**

- **Data Protection Act**: Comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and Information Governance and amendments to ensure integrity and security of our information.
- **Safeguarding**: Remain vigilant at all times to any safeguarding concerns within the day to day performance of your job role, sharing and learning from these experiences to ensure our statutory and organisational responsibilities are metin respect of safeguarding children & vulnerable adults.
