**Job summary**:
The UKHSA Regions are looking to appoint enthusiastic and talented Health Protection Business Support Officers and or dedicated PA support to the regional teams.

The post holder will provide day-to-day administrative and dedicated support to members of the local region and the Senior Management structure; working within a larger Business Support function dedicated to the chosen region. They will maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation key to delivering Public Health action. The post holder will work with mínimal supervision and be expected to work flexibly as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a wide range of specific administrative duties. The post holder may work with colleagues who are based at various sites, both in their chosen region and nationally.

**Job description**:
Act as central point of contact for a range of business administration activities, including delegated lead responsibility for certain corporate function processes

Responsible for the organisation of meetings and events and production of reports, papers, minutes and updating action logs as required. This will include providing secretariat support to teams and other internal meetings and networks as required.

Support the development of systems and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness across the business support and administration function.

Participate in relevant internal working groups/projects, services, and initiatives across the organisation

Contribute to effective information management (maintaining administrative and information resources, i.e., filing systems) and assist with dissemination and / or collation of information/returns, in a timely manner.

Whilst the role will be based in one of our UKHSA offices, there will be opportunities for an element of working from home. The balance between home and workplace working is to be agreed with the line manager, determined primarily by business need and in line with departmental policy.

Some business travel may be required to other UKHSA offices. Business travel between base location and any other UKHSA offices will be covered under the UKHSA Travel and Expenses policy.

Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas. Relocation expenses are not available.
