Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking an self-motivated Transport Administrator (Road) on behalf of our client who are a reputable and thriving manufacturing logistics provider based in **Rochdale**.

The Transport Administrator will deliver a customer focused quality service to meet customer needs and requirements whilst adhering local production quality control tools to maximise profit, quality of service and contribute to the strategic vision of the branch.
- Location: Rochdale (**OL16**)
- Hours of work: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
- Salary: £23,000 - £26,00 dependent on experience
- Benefits: 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, advanced company pension, and free parking

**Duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Export trailer management -Audit late departures
- Maintain export vehicle departure times, load yield targets, network quality targets
- Maintain export gross profit margin (CM3) on operational cost centres
- Effective delivery for PQC reports -transit times, flow rate and damaged deliveries
- Maintain quality standards and excellent customer service
- To efficiently respond to customer and network requests for export operations, to provide cost effective and efficient solutions ensuring that operational and service deadlines are adhered to
- Ensure compliance of standard operating procedures
- Make sure department is compliant with all internal and external processes relating to customs and the associated paperwork
- Translate, analyse and deliver customer requirements through effective operations and service
- Manage suppliers effectively to minimise cost
- Ensure that profit is maximised at all opportunities without compromising quality
- To liaise with other departments in Rochdale and the UK as well as other branches in the network ensuring good working relations

**The required traits, skills, and background**
- Experience within a transport/logistics sector or position is essential
- Experience within exports (road) would be desirable, as would European geographical knowledge
- Clear and efficient communication skills
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Highly numerate and methodical
- Computer literate (and a quick learner with systems)
- Able to focus/concentrate in a busy office environment
- Adaptable and willing to learn
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to manage your own workload
- Excellent IT skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
