Customer Service Representative

**Role overview**

We are currently looking for Customer Service Representatives to make outbound and receive inbound calls from customers on behalf of one of our Financial Services clients. The main purpose of this role is to agree on affordable and sustainable payment arrangements with customers.

**What you will be doing**

Working as part of a close-knit team offering support to customers by agreeing on affordable payment plans or signposting customers for support if they are in financial difficulty.

You will be providing Customers & Debt Management Companies with clear and concise information to ensure the best possible outcome for the Customer on a case-by-case basis.

Assessing affordability by asking questions and completing an income & expenditure

Identifying potentially vulnerable customers by asking the right questions, showing empathy, and signposting as appropriate.

Adhering to regulatory rules, principles & guidance from regulatory bodies such as the FCA, CSA code of practice, TCF & Ofcom.

**What we are looking for**

The below skills will be an advantage but full training will be provided to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to be successful.
- Good communication skills written & verbal.
- Quick thinking to adapt to individual circumstances & offer the best outcome for the customer
- Good attention to detail and be able to follow processes
- Able to demonstrate active listening and empathy
- An “own it” mentality who will strive on every call to provide the customer with the appropriate outcome.
