**Job Title: Internal Communications Change Consultant**
**Contract Type: UK-Fixed Term Contract (18 months - possibility of extension))**
**Salary Range: GBP 38,400.00 - 57,600.00**

**Internal Communications Change Consultant**:
To support the development and delivery of a strong internal communications strategy that supports the organisation's transformation agenda and is aligned with the organisation's vision and values, by building a culture of community, inclusion, trust andengagement.

Working closely with members of the Internal Communications and Engagement Team as well as key stakeholders from across the business this role is to ensure the effective communication of key strategic messages through the development and delivery of agreedplans, budgets and timings.
**Main Responsibilities as Internal Communications Change Consultant**:

- Implement agreed communications activity to all UK-based people, which supports the delivery of the transformation agenda and business goals to drive improvements in morale, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and create a wide range of communication plans and execute them as appropriate, utilising appropriate channels and reflecting the differing needs of the audience
- Checking the effectiveness of messages and channels through regular monitoring and feedback and take any necessary steps for improvement
- Improving the level of internal communications capability by coaching team leaders and project managers in key communication skills and techniques
- Educating team leaders, project managers and key stakeholders in the way we communicate and making sure they follow the internal communications governance and processes
- Championing the importance of excellent internal communications to the business and raising any issues with the relevant business contact
- Project managing changes to internal communication processes and activities - either working alone or leading a small project team
- Liaising effectively with HR BPs to identify and support the development and delivery of functional IC requirements

**Skills and experience you need as Internal Communications Change Consultant**
- Proven experience in developing and creating campaign and communication plans that support delivery
- Experience in internal communications / employee communications or change communications to support business transformation
- Experience communicating digital transformation in the insurance or wider financial services sector is desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships within the organisation, communicate regularly with key individuals and with all levels.
- Able to understand and promote sensitive issues in the most appropriate and engaging way.
- Ability to spot the external comms potential of a good internal story
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong questioning and listening skills.
- Project management and prioritisation skills, to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to plan, create and execute communications.
- Excellent relationship builder with focus, energy and passion.
- Preferably degree qualified within journalism, communications, public relations or marketing is an advantage
