Job description

Press Brake Setter/Operator (Amanda Press Brake)

Reporting directly to the machine shop team leader or their appointed supervisor

**Key role**
- Accurately fold cut blanks (either as drawing or hand marked)
- Self checking and signing quality check sheets
- Coordination between Laser Operatives and Production Supervisor to ensure timely manufacture of parts
- Following procedures and processes to increase efficiency within the department as directed
- Marking of folded parts to signify project and item number
- Feed back any anomalies to Line Manager (inaccuracies of drawings, quantities etc)
- Self-discipline including dress code, time keeping and all company directives
- Tidiness of the production area
- Maintenance of machinery and allocated hand tools
- Good house keeping (filing of drawings, purchase orders and all relevant paperwork)
- Undertaking of all other such work as directed from time to time
**ADDITIONAL DUTIES**
- Tidy shop floor, ensure walk ways are kept clear at all times and create efficiency within the work place
- Dress Code - ensure you are dressed in company overalls, polo shirts, sweat shirts
- Safety wear - ensure you are wearing safety shoes and PPE
- Training
- ensure you are trained safely in use of machinery and are aware of Health & Safety procedure
- Ensure any problems with drawings or mistakes are discussed with the relevant person

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
