**Overview**

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, mechanical knowledge, and materials handling to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Set up CNC machines according to technical drawings and specifications using CAD and SolidWorks software.
- Programme CNC equipment via programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure accurate production runs.
- Operate milling machines and other CNC equipment to produce parts with tight tolerances.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and tooling to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Perform basic maths calculations for measurements, tolerances, and material estimations.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including loading and unloading raw materials.
- Utilise hand tools for minor adjustments or repairs on machinery or components.
- Assist in assembly processes when required, ensuring parts meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and experience with welding if necessary.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in fabrication, 5 axis, & CNC operation.
- Assembly of composite components using standard fasteners such as riveting & anchor nuts.
- Cleaning and finishing of products using polishers.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools and tooling maintenance.
- Strong understanding of materials handling within a warehouse setting.
- Basic math skills for measurements, scaling, and calculations related to manufacturing processes.
- Experience with composites & assembly processes is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications precisely. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their careers in manufacturing technology within a supportive team environment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,500.00 per year
