Lead Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust is an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies site and a vacancy has arisen for a Lead Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, which is a new post for the service.
Regular management and clinical supervision will be available, and the Trust is committed to staff wellbeing and development opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop a new post in a high performing, APPTS accredited service, working with clinical leads from other professions to enable steps2change to provide the best treatment possible for service users.
**Applicants must have the following**:
- Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies, undertaken with an accredited provider.
- Qualification in provision of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner supervision
- Demonstrable experience working as a Senior PWP and delivering supervision, both case management and clinical skills
- Registration as a PWP with BABCP or BPS
To provide leadership and line management for Senior PWPs in Steps2Change. This will include day-to-day guidance and support of the SPWP team, management supervision, sickness absence and performance management, appraisals and other relevant HR issues as well as monitoring the PWP aspect of service delivery.

To provide clinical leadership to Senior PWPs/PWPs/TPWPs Team, referring any complex clinical issues to Service Manager
Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department’s referral protocols, refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary or steps-up the person’s treatment to high intensity psychological therapy
Provide a range of information and support for evidence based high-volume low-intensity psychological treatments. This may include guided self-help computerised CBT, information about pharmacological treatments. This work may be face to face, telephone or via other media
Assess and support people with a common mental health problem in the self-management of their recovery
To actively promote evidence-based practice and ensure that all practice is delivered in accordance with NICE Guidelines or best practice guidance.
Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the overall number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient
Engage in and respond to personal development supervision to improve competences and clinical practice.
Manage any aspect of the service at the level of direct service delivery. This might include one or more (depending on available time) of: co-ordinating psycho-educational material, keeping a central resource file of clinical resources for general use, acting as the key liaison with an identified group of professionals/ organisation, for local voluntary organisations, GP surgeries, employment.
Ensure that staff maintain patient and clinical records safely and to a high standard, and that they are stored and accessed appropriately.
Participate in audits of clinical activity and utilise data from the Service’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance individual practitioners’ practice
To keep up to date and accurate work activity figures and to make these available to the appropriate departments
To meet with a clinical lead, for the purposes of professional support, career development and service planning
