Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
2 days ago
Lincolnshire Talking Therapies sits within Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. An opportunity has arisen for two Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners within the service in Sleaford & Grantham teams and Stamford & Spalding teams (3 posts in total). The Service provides evidence based interventions within a stepped care model, treating people with mild to moderate common mental health problem. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major national initiative, which has fundamentally changed the way in which psychological treatments are provided.
Regular management and clinical supervision will be provided by qualified supervisors. The service has a strong commitment towards CPD, staff wellbeing and providing quality services. There will also be the expectation of working a late once a week, 12 - 8pm to support patient needs.
Secondly, the post holder will be responsible for providing regular case management and clinical skills supervision to both qualified and trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. The post holder will support trainees to meet the requirements of their course and will work with the Team Manager and Clinical Lead to support the development of staff in the team. This will include the development, support and delivery of training.
Thirdly, the service operates a model of “live supervision” where every assessment carried out in the service is discussed with a supervisor and the outcome agreed - this ensures that the decision making is shared and the outcome is adherent to the Talking Therapies model. The successful applicant will be responsible for facilitating live supervision across the service as part of a rota of cover.
