**About the role**

We're looking for a Commercial Executive to join our Recycling division, supporting Commercial Managers and the Customer Excellence team in the management of a portfolio of accounts across the division. You will provide commercial support to the team, managingbusiness, financial and strategy projects within our corporate strategy, and ensuring that we're enhancing profitability and cost-effectiveness of our projects, keeping our guidelines and policies up to date and adhered to. You'll advise our sales teams withregards to tender preparation, contract and quotations to ensure we have accurate inputs within the required timelines.

We'll also be asking you to actively manage forecasts on volumes and purchase price, and to track the team's targets to ensure that we meet KPIs. Finally, you'll work closely with customers on price increase negotiations and reviews, making sure that theyare kept up to date and are happy with the service they receive from DS Smith. This is a fantastic opportunity to build experience in account management, setting you up for a career in Commercial Management.

**About you**
- Experience in a customer facing, administrative role
- Excellent computer literacy - able to work well with MS Office and on our internal system (Citrix)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good commercial acumen with an eye for detail, helping to identify opportunities for the business
- A growth mindset, with the drive to develop yourself and progress through the role
