We are working in partnership with this worldwide freight forwarding company looking to recruit a business development executive to generate new opportunities and help the business grow.

**Job Title**: Business Development Executive

**Location**: East Cornwall

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 with a 1-hour break

**Benefits**:

- £24,000 - £26,000 negotiable depending on experience
- 5 weeks of holiday plus 8 bank holidays
- Gym membership
- Discretionary Christmas bonus
- Annual pay review in September

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaising with colleagues to ensure quotes are sent out in a timely manner
- Managing and organising work efforts to exceed budgeted sales plan
- Achieve sales goals encompassing possible marketing possibilities
- Meet KPI targets
- Personal sales execution and development of business relationships with internal and external customers
- Researching and maintaining current information with regard to customer needs, specific solutions offered, and feedback to management
- Office based administration tasks
Social media and all digital marketing campaigns.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Excel, Google Merchant Centre and Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn, and Twitter would be advantageous
- Ability to self-manage and motivate is critical
- Previous sales and freight forwarding or logistics experience would be favourable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Strong sense of confidentiality
- Negotiation and research skills
- Skilled using in-house databases and must be able to understand and filter profile statistics to present solutions
