Role: Clinical Application Specialist Location: Remote based, South-West UK Language: English Travel: 90%

Our Clinical Application Specialists are responsible for the support and training of new and existing customers on the relevant product portfolio. This includes customer education and training with troubleshooting, pre-contract/installation site assessment, post contract/installation site management, tradeshow support and other educational activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Works collaboratively (with the field sales representative) to support surgical cases with local physicians and other clinicians for training and follow-up
- Partners with field sales representative assessing the needs of customers and in providing training programmes at customer facilities for physicians, hospital personnel and office staff
- Analyses and prepares reports, documenting training performance for all instruction provided to customers
- Maintains current knowledge about assigned products and services as well as competitive products and disease states
- Attends internal/external education meetings and reads appropriate professional journals to maintain and enhance skills and clinical competency
- Stays current on the latest clinical data relating to all of Hologic’s products and educated sales team on this
- Engage in basic market development activities depending upon the needs of the assigned geography
- Determine best methods and needs for dealing with customer complaints, troubleshooting issues, and public relations, and coordinate and liaison with other departments as necessary
What we are looking for:
- Significant experience in a clinical surgical setting, experience with OB-GYN is ideal
- Effective communication skills, including ability to interact with medical staff, Sales, Marketing and Global Franchise Leaders
- Effective teaching skills with ability to translate complex instructions clearly
- Effective verbal and written presentation skills
- Full valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel extensively
