Property & Sustainability Manager

deverellsmith have partnered with a leading Real Estate Investment Trust to source a Property and Sustainability manager. Our client invests in in a diversified portfolio of UK wide healthcare real estate assets, in particular residential care homes.
MAIN DUTIES
Undertake regular inspections of assets and prepare written and verbal reports to management team
Identify potential disrepair issues and raise with operator partners (tenants)
Review and keep up to date key compliance documentation (H&S, Fire Safety etc)
Principle point of contact for insurance brokers
Maintain database of EPCs
Collect and analyse energy data from assets
Assist in preparation and implementation of net zero carbon strategy
Agree and implement ESG performance improvements to assets in accordance with net zero carbon strategy (e.g. LED lighting, solar PV, fabric upgrades)
Assist in preparation and submission of data for GRESB or other 3rd party accreditations.
Maintain accurate property records
TO BE CONSIDERED:
Experience in real estate property management in the UK with a focus on healthcare
Competent with Microsoft Office software and wider IT real estate software packages
Understanding of ESG relevance to an asset management business with a growing portfolio
Able to work remotely and travel across UK with occasional overnight stays
