The Global LEAN Expert role will be part of the team responsible for the design, adoption and execution of the LEAN transformation roadmap for the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics Integrated Supply Chain Business Unit reporting to the LEAN & Digital Director. The LEAN team is responsible for developing and deploying the LEAN behaviors, principles, standards, and tools across the GEHC PDx network to drive tangible business value.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the execution of kaizens and lean events to deliver on the CI plan
- Support the delivery of the following: event charter, metrics, scope, required pre-work and event execution plan
- Build, implement and measure Standard Work (SW) across all business partner’s processes
- Train teams on standard work and define KPIs that demonstrate process health
- Establish and drive sustainment of Daily Management across the business partner’s processes
- Support across all levels of the Management System (Tiers 1-5)

- Ensure proper training and coaching for effective daily management and a true “embrace the red” culture
**Qualifications and experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any technical or analytical domain with a preference for Supply Chain Manufacturing related degrees (Business, Economics, Engineering)
- Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g. Healthcare, Pharma, Food)
- Improvement mindset is essential, understands LEAN toolset with proven results
- Ability to facilitate and conduct Kaizen events
- Proven success in leading significant business process improvement
- Demonstrated leadership, ability to shape transformational change
- Willing to travel up to 30%
- Experience leading large lean transformational rollout across multiple types of businesses or industries, complex and interdependent initiatives in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.
