**THE ROLE**

Our Hire Desk Assistants are integral to our customer experience; working in a small team this role encompasses a variety of tasks, which include;
- Serving both public and trade Customers
- Answering phone calls/taking orders
- Processing hires and sales on our hire system
- Credit card and cash handling
- Assisting the Depot Manager with day to day administration tasks
- Demonstrating machines to customers (Full training given)

This is a customer focused role dealing with the Building Trade and General Public. Knowledge of plant and tools would be beneficial, however we do offer a variety of internal and external courses, where appropriate.

There may be times when cover for holiday and sickness at other Depots is required.

**HOURS/SALARY/BENEFITS**
- Hours of Work: 7.30 am/5 pm Monday to Friday (alternate Saturday mornings 8 am/12 noon)
- Starting Salary: £27’000 per annum
- Saturday mornings are paid at time and a half
- Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays
- Sick Pay: After qualifying period
- Birthday Holiday: After qualifying period
- Death in Service
- Pension: Auto-enrolment Pension
- Breakfast Club

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
