Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position area level 2 in Teaching Assistant or demonstrable experience evidenced through references.

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at a school in Denton, Tameside. This is a full-time role starting immeidately and is ideal for an experienced teaching assistant with experience of supporting challenging behaviour, to start immediately.

The role

The successful Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in the reception class, you will be supporting a child who is prone to going into crisis and throwing toys in the air. Understanding what triggers these events is key to preventing the child form going into crisis. You must have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to create a safe and nurturing environment.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Have experience working in Early Years Foundation Stage
Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification or have experience of supporting children with additional needs
Have excellent behaviour management skills
Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
