**Year 2 TA, Denton (M34), Part time, Until end of academic year**

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Year 2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a primary school in Denton. This is a part time position, working mornings only (08:30 - 12:30, Mon - Fri). The role will start ASAP, depending on how quickly the applicantpasses all necessary vetting checks and is cleared for work. Applications must also be available until the end of the academic year.

The aim of this additional support is to provide general classroom assistance as well leading interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis. It is essential that the Teaching Assistant is confident with their numeracy and literacy skills in order for themto support the children’s learning

What the role will involve:

- _Providing teaching and learning support to students in Year 2 _
- _Maintaining the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition_
- _Demonstrating a positive and consistent attitude in line with the expectations of the school _
- _Leading interventions in numeracy and literacy on a 1:1 basis and in small groups _
- _Supervising children during activities and play _

Essential Requirements:

- _Must have experience working with young people_
- _Have excellent references to support your previous experience _
- _Have the legal right to work in the UK_

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
