You will be based in Avenue House Eastbourne, to work within the Sexual Health department, providing front line reception services to the department. Flexible working between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday - Friday with the possibility of some Saturday work.

The post holder will provide a confidential and professional customer service to patients as they arrive in the department, exercising patience, tolerance and understanding when booking appointments, giving information and/or directions. The post holder must be highly computer literate as all clerical and booking systems are electronic.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team within then sexual health department you will be the first point of call for patients on their journey through the clinic.

Using a call centre approach, based in Eastbourne, you will be answering incoming calls from members of the public across the county and ensuring that our service users receive care at either our Hastings or Eastbourne clinics.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate up to date records and bookings via the phone and on our dedicated sexual health computer system (full training provided); ensuring patients receive the best service possible in a non judgemental and professional manner.

We operate Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm. Going forwards, there maybe a requirement for the service to operate on Saturdays also. You will need to be able to work as part of the team and provideone to two evenings per week as required.
