**IT Install Engineer (Outside IR35)**

My client has an immediate requirement for an IT Install Engineer on a 3-month initial contract with the option to extend. The client is a privately owned, Basingstoke-based, IT and Audio-Visual Solution Provider with a 25-year track record of great serviceand innovative approaches to business problems.

The range of our services run from the provision of outsourced IT functions such as our IT Service Desk, to the design, installation and support of Audio Visual.

They have a project for one of their customers to install and test new wireless points in all their sites around the UK. This will involve driving to the sites (probably 2-3 sites per day), removing the old access points and attaching the new ones (involvingladders in the warehouses), connecting the new ones to the network, and liaising via phone with the remote IT department who will configure them.

Once configured, you will use Wi-Fi measurement software on a laptop to confirm that the coverage reaches everywhere as planned.

**This role will require frequent travel to their clients' sites based around South London, Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire. The majority of sites are within an hour's drive.**

**A clean full driving license is essential, and a company car will be provided.**

**Requirements**:

- Presentable and confident with talking to customers
- Sufficient computer literacy to do the site surveys and talk to the IT department
- Driving license to enable you to drive vans to sites
- Practical skills and confidence to work on trade sites

Rate: £120 - £150 p/d
