You will support schools across Reading and Berkshire, ensuring their IT infrastructure runs smoothly. Key requirements: valid UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and the ability to travel to multiple school sites. Responsibilities Manage and resolve technical issues impacting school functions, providing robust solutions. Install, maintain and repair computer hardware, including desktops, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners and AV equipment. Configure and update software across the network, diagnose problems and provide user support, including Microsoft Office365. Communicate with schools about available services, manage accounts and keep them informed of updates. Work independently, identify improvement opportunities and act proactively. Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years in ICT Technician / 2nd line support, preferably in education. • Strong technical background and customer‑service orientation. • Excellent communication and organisational skills; able to explain technical issues in layman’s terms. • Self‑motivated team player with problem‑solving aptitude.
