**Job Description: Self-Employed Multisport PE Coach in Primary Schools & Community Venues**

**Pay Rate**: £15-£18 per hour

**About the Role**:
Love.Play.Active is looking for a passionate, reliable, and skilled Multisport PE Coach to deliver high-quality PE sessions in primary schools & Community centres across Shropshire. As a self-employed coach, you will have the autonomy to plan and lead your own sessions, catering to the physical and developmental needs of children in line with the school's PE curriculum. Flexibility is key, as you will work with different schools, some on a regular weekly basis and others with ad-hoc sessions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons** for up to 30 children, ensuring sessions align with the national PE curriculum.
- **Adapt sessions** to suit various ages and abilities, promoting participation, enjoyment, and skill development.
- **Foster a positive, inclusive environment**, where all children feel encouraged and supported in their physical activity.
- **Communicate effectively** with school staff to understand their needs and provide feedback on children’s progress.
- **Ensure the safety** and well-being of all participants, adhering to health and safety guidelines and safeguarding protocols.
- **Travel to different primary schools across Shropshire** to deliver both scheduled and ad-hoc PE sessions.
- **Manage PE equipment** and ensure all resources are used and stored correctly.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school or educational setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate children.
- Strong knowledge of the primary school PE curriculum and a passion for promoting physical activity.
- Ability to work flexibly with varying hours and schools.
- Full driving license and access to your own transport (essential for travel across the Shropshire area).
- Self-motivated and well-organized, with strong time management skills.
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Minimum Level 1 in any sport

**Desirable**:

- First Aid certification.
- Safeguarding and child protection training.

**Hours**:
As a self-employed coach, your hours will vary depending on school requirements. This may include regular weekly sessions or ad-hoc bookings. You must be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of different schools.
