**RRESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE WORKER (RCW) - THERAPEUTIC CHILDREN'S HOMES**

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Childcare Workers (RCWs) in our therapeutic children's homes. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support, guidance, and care to children and young people who have experienced trauma and may have additional needs.

**Salary Range**: £28,540.00 - £29,996.00 per annum. This salary is inclusive of seven sleep-in payments per month. Sleep-ins are remunerated at £55.00 per night, with employees able to undertake up to 10 sleep-ins per month. The stated salary is for full-time positions (pro rata for part-time) and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

**Golden Hello Incentive**:

- £500 after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
- £500 after successful completion of twelve months' employment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children and young people in the home.
- Creating a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
- Providing practical and emotional support to children and young people, including daily routines and medical appointments.
- Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to provide a holistic support system for our young people.
- Maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Experience working with children and young people, ideally in a residential setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and the impact of trauma on children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and caring approach to supporting children and young people.
- The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
