We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as residential support workers in our therapeutic children's homes. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support, guidance, and care to children and young people who have experienced trauma and may have additional needs.

**Salary range £28,540.00 - £29,996.00 pa. Salary is inclusive of 7 sleep-in payments per month.**
**Sleep-ins are paid at £55.00 per night and employees can complete up to 10 sleep-ins per month.**

**The above salary is full-time (pro rata for part-time) and dependent upon qualifications and experience.**

**Plus Golden Hello Incentive:

- **£500 after successful completion of 12-months’ employment.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children and young people in the home.
- Creating a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
- Providing practical and emotional support to children and young people including, but not limited to, daily routines and medical appointments
- Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to provide a holistic support system for our young people.
- Maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation.

**Desired skills and experience**:

- Experience working with children and young people, ideally in a residential setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and the impact of trauma on children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and caring approach to supporting children and young people
- The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
