Annual salary: up to £37,000.00

**Extra Care Scheme Manager required for our Extra Care Branch in Bromley - Brosse Way. **

**We are offering a Salary of up to £37,000 + great company benefits.**

You will be responsible for our 60 bed assisted living scheme and will have approx 23 staff members.

With a network of branches across the UK, Mears has been providing housing with care support services since 1994.

We aim to work in partnership with commissioners and others to develop and deliver high-quality care in the community to vulnerable people. Our goal is to provide housing with care based on an enabling approach with an outcome focused support planning process.

As a large provider of social care services, Mears works collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to address challenges in the social care marketplace.

**Role Criteria**:
We have a dedicated team to ensure that all of our service users get the best possible service to enable them to live an independent life.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Extra Care Scheme Manager that holds a QCF Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or willing to complete a QCF Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care).
- Responsible for overseeing service delivery of personalised care & support to all service users in-line with regulatory requirements
- Driving and motivating a great team, managing our statistics, Staff performances, Training, Team Development and more.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained through effective recruitment and retention in order to deliver a safe, high quality service.
- Undertake regular reviews of the service to ensure high levels of compliance are maintained in line with regulatory requirements
- Deliver a safe and viable service and take ownership of setting financial budgets, and delivering the budget
- Work closely with the local authority and community to ensure the scheme benefits from community engagement

**What we need from you? **
- We are looking for a dedicated care professional to be a registered manager who currently holds a QCF Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or has the equivalent qualification or is willing to complete a QCF Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care.
- You will have previous experience within the care sector, as well as an knowledge of care standards.
- You will be a good communicator
- Have good IT Skills and competency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Be able to work in a flexible manner in line with the business needs
