**Role and responsibilities;**

**What your role will include**:
As a Highways Electrical Maintenance/Installation Operative (Level 2) Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced highways maintenance teams, gaining practical skills and knowledge in the delivery of essential services. Your daily responsibilities will include:

- **Collaborating with Highways Maintenance Teams**: Working directly with existing teams to undertake a variety of tasks.
- **Street Lighting Works**: Assisting with the maintenance, repair, and potentially installation of street lighting infrastructure.
- **Signage Works**: Supporting the maintenance and installation of traffic signs and other related signage.
- **Associated Electrical Works**: Contributing to other electrical tasks within the highways environment as required.
- **Skill Development through Training**: Participating actively in various training courses designed to equip you with the necessary skills and qualifications to become a proficient Highways Operative.
