An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Analytical Lab Technician to join a global chemical manufacturing business on a permanent basis at its in Berkshire.

As Analytical Lab Technician, you will work as part of the Physical Testing Team, performing analysis tests within the laboratory facilities, recording data and ensuring all records & documentation are maintained on all ISO quality management systems.

**Analytical Lab Technician Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of components, chemicals and formulations for testing and supply.- Elemental Analysis
- Acid, Base and Water Titrations
- Density Measurements
- Viscosity Measurements
- Particle Counting
- Flash Point Testing
- Maintain safe work practices and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Run Laboratory testing accurately and precisely using established test methods.
- Communication of results to internal customers.
- Manage multiple test backlogs.
- Carry out calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of the laboratory equipment.
- Maintain work area in a neat, clean, and safe condition.
- Maintain technical knowledge through training.
- Ensure that ISO procedures and documentation are maintained.

**Chemical Technician Requirements**:

- Degree qualification in Chemistry or closely related field of study.
- Industrial lab experience carrying out analysis of raw material using techniques including ICP, titrations, flash point and viscosity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads accordingly.
- Ability to carry out laboratory tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of safe laboratory practices.
