**The Role**:
In the role of Social Media and Content Coordinator at Ashbourne Day Nurseries, you will play a pivotal role within our marketing team. Your responsibilities will encompass the development and implementation of captivating social media strategies, as well as the creation of compelling content. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative individual to join us in revitalising and enhancing our online presence, aligning it with our ambitious growth plans.

This position presents an exciting opportunity for a creative individual who possesses a passion for storytelling, brand building, and engaging with our audience across diverse digital platforms. Beyond this, you will also contribute to local nursery marketing endeavours, seamlessly bridging both online and offline channels as required

**Key Duties**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive organic and paid social media strategy aligned with the company’s goals and values.
- Manage and grow our presence across various social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Google Business.
- Manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of content across various platforms.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and engaging.
- Schedules and creates social media posts that align to company guidelines and priorities.
- Generate compelling and shareable content that showcases our industry expertise, thought leadership and culture.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create content that highlights our values
- Utilise multi-media content such as images, videos and infographics to enhance engagement.
- Foster and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities for user-generated content and user participation to enhance brand loyalty. Monitor social media analytics to evaluate the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular reports on key metrics, insights,and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and nursery teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach across all customer touchpoints.
- Work closely with external partners to amplify our online presence.
- Act as a key point of contact for our nurseries' social media channels, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure alignment with local marketing strategies.
- Moderate and curate content on social media platforms, ensuring that posts reflect the unique identity and messaging of each nursery.
- Collaborate closely with nursery staff to gather insights, local events, and noteworthy achievements to incorporate into social media content.
- Implement strategies to boost local engagement, encouraging community participation, and responding promptly to inquiries and comments.
- Monitor and analyse local social media trends, adjusting content strategies as needed to maximise visibility and resonance within specific nursery communities.
- Support nurseries in promoting extra activities such as open days, community engagement events, and special initiatives through targeted marketing activity not limited to social media.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an emphasis on creativity.
- Strong creative and content creation skills, including the ability to develop engaging visuals, videos, and written content. Experience in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with local communities.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics.
- Strong moderation skills to ensure a positive online environment. Excellent communication skills to respond to enquiries, comments, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
