Social Media Specialist

**Before applying: W**illingness to travel, primarily in the UK, to events, shoots and to our office in Milton Keynes around once/week is important.**

**What you’ll do**:
Besides attending gigs on a very regular basis, you will take ownership of executing the social media content calendar while supporting the creation of engaging, social-first content. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, on-brand content that aligns with the integrated marketing plan and resonates with our diverse global audience. You will manage the day-to-day execution of social media activities, ensuring timely responses to our community and fostering brand loyalty across key platforms. Your passion for social media, creativity, and strategic mindset will help strengthen Marshall’s presence and connection with music lovers worldwide.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Drive social activity across all platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging content delivery.
- Schedule and publish relevant content across channels, balancing planned and ad-hoc posts
- Manage and monitor social channels, fostering community engagement while upholding community guidelines.
- Track and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Execute social plans in alignment with the Brand Roadmap and wider social media strategy.
- Act as a key voice of the brand, collaborating with internal teams to support ongoing social initiatives.
- Work closely with our inhouse Creatives team to optimize assets for each platform.
- Develop and produce social-first content tailored to each platform’s unique audience and trends.
- Be on the ground at events and shoots globally, capturing real-time content to bring Marshall's brand story to life across social channels.
- Contribute to social media strategy by leveraging platform expertise and innovative ideas to drive brand growth.

- Music lover You're obsessed with music and willing to attend gigs of all genres on a very regular basis.
- Proven experience in social media management, with a deep understanding of platform trends, emerging developments, and a passion for creating social-first content.
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail, with a strong command of the English language and the ability to craft engaging, on-brand copy.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a collaborative mindset
- Ambitious and results-driven, striving for excellence while adapting to a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects effectively.
- A true team player, eager to contribute and support the wider team’s goals with enthusiasm and flexibility.
- Willingness to travel globally to events and shoots, capturing content and bringing Marshall’s brand to life in real-time.

**You probably have the following experiences & skills**:

- 2+ years experience in social media marketing with social-first content creation, primarily Youtube, Meta platforms and TikTok.
- Experience of scheduling and campaign management on multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in social media tools and creative software, including Sprout Social, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Experience of working with a music, tech or lifestyle brand. Working with a heritage brand is a bonus.
