**Senior Claims Adjuster (US Casualty)**
**London - Flexible hybrid working**
**£70,000 - £80,000**
A rapidly expanding Insurance market leader are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster with a US Casualty focus. Reporting into the Claims Manager, the role entails success in quick, precise and regular reserving and adjustment of Claims Liabilities, maintainingstrong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:
- To achieve prompt, accurate and consistent adjustment and reserving of claims liabilities
- Promptly agree valid claims for payment
- Raise all appropriate queries where further information is required
- Reject invalid claims
- Adjust quantum of covered claims
- Negotiate and resolve disputed claims
- Ensure accurate reserves are recorded
- Liaise with Co-insurers as required
- Raise, record and track queries on claims as required
- Eliminate redundant reserves
- Manage relationships with internal and external lawyers and adjusters
- Comply with all internal controls and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of market issues
**You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience**:
- Minimum of 5 years claims experience
- The operation of international insurance markets
- Company and departmental processes and procedures
- Company and market claims systems
- Law and practice relating to claims adjusting
- Lloyd’s minimum standards and market practices
- Lloyd’s Claims Scheme
- IT - Microsoft packages, Class, ImageRight, PINS
