Today, the taught programmes of Mechanical and Aerospace engineering welcome over 1600 students across the spectrum of courses, and we are a home to over 120 academic and research staff.
The School of Engineering at Manchester is a world-leading centre for education in the Mechanical Engineering and other disciplines. Our key research thematic priorities include Net Zero & Environmental Sustainability, Robotics, Autonomous Systems & AI, Digital Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, and Engineering for Health and Engineering Materials. These posts are in addition to a number of recent and core appointments in Innovative Manufacturing, underpinning our bold ambition in this field.
We will be delighted to hear from academics with expertise in areas of robotics in innovative manufacture. As well a clearly formed plan to deliver ambitious research objectives we will be seeking those with a demonstrable passion and enthusiasm for teaching design and manufacture at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
