The post holder will have responsibility for the professional leadership,and be responsible and accountable for the Oldham Adult Community Services -Community Diagnostic Centre. This is an exciting new development in Oldham aiming to improve access to diagnostics and reduce health inequalities. The post holder will be an integral member of the leadership team team and will be responsible for the development, delivery and performance in Oldham, creating and maintaining a culture of high performance and quality and supporting the integration of health and care.

**This role requires the post holder to**:
1. Develop and maintain communication with people on complex matters, issues and ideas and/or in complex situations
2. Develop oneself and others in areas of practice
3. Maintain and develop an environment and culture that improves health, safety and security.
4. Work in partnership with others to develop, take forward and evaluate direction, for a range of policies, service developments and strategies for the whole group.

1. Coordinate, monitor and review the use of financial resources
2. Plan, coordinate and monitor the delivery of services and / or other projects
3. Plan, develop, monitor and review the recruitment, deployment and management of people for the Division.

As part of the Directorate team working with the Directorate Manager and are responsible for leading the development of services and work programmes within the Directorate to deliver a high-quality patient focussed service.

Develop excellent relationships with professional staff to ensure they have the opportunity to influence the management, planning of and development of services within the sphere of responsibility

To work closely with the Divisional Management Team and Directorate Management Teams to ensure optimum and high-level ongoing performance in line with corporate objectives and evidence based best practice.

As delegated by the Divisional Management Team, lead and deliver service development and improvement working across all Directorates within the Division.

Responsible for performance management for allocated services or work programmes, ensuring robust systems and processes are in place to support the effective monitoring of activity and finances.

Responsibility for the efficient and effective use of resources including development of robust recovery planning where deviation occurs.

Participation in the Senior Manager On-Call Rota duties as appropriate to the role.
