A powerhouse within the energy sector is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team in Reading on an initial 6 month contract. The role will be based onsite in their Reading office.

**Main Purpose of JOB**

The Finance Analyst (FA) is responsible for the execution of Fixed Asset data cleanse activities as part of the Finance Transformation, providing support to the Transformation team and individual business units where activities are required

**Key Accountabilities**
- Perform data cleanse activities as identified as part of the Finance Transformation project
- Running reports before and after the completion of transactions
- Assisting BU's and the FT team in accessing data and running reports
- Support the FDM with reconciliations of the old and new data

The above accountabilities & responsibilities are not exhaustive; the applicant may be required to undertake additional duties as the business changes

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

**Essential Functional / Technical Skills**
- Excellent analytical skills
- Numerate
- Advanced skills in all MS Excel
- Excellent organisational skills

**Business Knowledge**
- General Fixed Assets knowledge would be helpful but not essential
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
- Oracle Fixed assets experience useful but not essential, as full training will be provided

**Personal Attributes / Competencies**
- High level of self-motivation with the ability to work within multiple business areas
- Demonstrate flexibly and resilience whilst working in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work from Reading office
