The Team
You will be part of a large national team of real estate project lawyers involved in high value and high profile projects.
The team currently has members based in Cambridge and Norwich. They are flexible on location as the team regularly works as part of cross-office teams and with clients based in different parts of the country.
The Role
You will primarily assist other members of the projects team on a broad range of real estate work, from investment to development, with a particular emphasis on development and infrastructure projects involving both private and public sectors.
You will also work closely with their real estate, banking and finance teams on investment and development transactions, with a particular focus on the following sectors: government, higher education and charities.
The projects often involve other legal disciplines such as procurement, finance, construction and commercial contracts which means that, if you have a background in these areas, there would be scope to keep up and develop your skills, if that appeals to you.
**Key skills include**:
- managing your own case-load of matters
- working on cross-disciplinary projects
- supervising and mentoring
- business development initiatives, including preparation of tenders, attending pitches and hospitality
About You
- Any PQE
- Qualified Solicitor
- Relevant real estate experience particularly in investment and development work
- Good team-working skills
- Good drafting skills with an ability to give clear, simple, risk-based advice
- Good academics and demonstrate enthusiasm for this work.
