This is a part time role of circa 25 hours per week, working as part of a small Purchasing team where priorities can change on a daily basis. Specific working days & hours to be agreed at time of offer, and there is the possibility of additional hours when covering for holidays and sickness.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Creation, review and maintenance of supplier accounts (domestic and international) on the Company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in line with the Company Quality Management System (QMS)
- Compilation and issue of Requests for Quotation (RFQ) documents, then subsequent review and negotiation with suppliers as appropriate
- Review of actual purchase prices against Sales Order costings and liaising with the Sales team as appropriate
- Creation, placement, maintenance and expediting of Purchase Orders on the Company ERP system to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, components and services
