**Your tasks**:

- Work closely with the VFX supervisor to determine the best techniques and approaches for each project
- Mentor and manage a team of artists, providing support, guidance, and feedback as needed
- Ensure artists are sticking to established CG workflows as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Run daily CG reviews and communicate notes to the team
- Make sure that all CG elements meet the required quality and technical standards by approving QC renders before artists hand over work to downstream departments
- Work with project managers to ensure that deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technology, continually seeking ways to improve and evolve the CG process
- Help improve workflows in collaboration with the Heads of Department

**Ideally you will have**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in CG supervision for feature films or television
- Expertise in 3D animation and compositing software such as Houdini, Maya, Mari, Karma/Renderman, Nuke
- Experience working in a USD driven pipeline
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of artists
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to deliver high-quality CG visual effects
- Inspire confidence in others by demonstrating strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to set boundaries
