Reports to: Head of CG

**Job Description**:
The Matchmove Supervisor is required to work with our CG Supervisors, 2D Supervisors and Producers and be responsible for all aspects of matchmove on assigned projects. Schedule, manage, delegate and supervise the matchmove team. Input into the overall workflow and technical aspects of matchmoving at NVIZ including problems solving. Responsibility for assessing and managing outsource tracks. Working with our production team on new bids for future shows, and with recruitment for hiring new matchmove team members. Be prepared to undertake on-set work where required and have an understanding of all kit to be used.

Job Requirements:

- Thorough understanding of the visual effects process and the ability to interpret the technical brief from the CG/2D supervisor.
- Expert working knowledge of 3dEqualizer, PFTrack, Mocha
- Knowledge in all areas of matchmoving
- Good knowledge of Maya
- Basic usage of Nuke
- Knowledge of Alembic workflows
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern DSLRs
- Experience on-set, knowledge of data acquisition and experience with photogrammetry shoots
- Critical eye for detail and strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong technical and design skills.
- Good time management and delegation skills.
- Proactive and accepting of changes.
- Knowledge of other CG animation software including Houdini, and UE4
- Nuke composting skills for creating and outputting 2D aspects of matchmoves
