**Location: Canal Head Depot, Kendal**

**Contract: Permanent**

**About this **opportunity**
- Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking to employ enthusiastic and motivated LGV Drivers at Kendal Depot to deliver within the Street Scene Department and assist in ensuring that the highest standard of services is delivered and maintained for residents in the South Lakeland area. The main duties of the role include driving and loading on our waste and recycling collection rounds.
- On occasions the post holder may be asked to work at other depots or locations, or to carry out other associated work. The nature of the work means that the post holder will come into contact with members of the public, and a polite and helpful approach is essential.
