**About this opportunity**
- Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Street Care Operative / Delivery Driver at Kendal Depot to deliver within the Street Scene Department and assist in ensuring that the highest standard of services are delivered and maintained for residents in the South Lakeland area. The main duties of the role include driving and delivering around the south lakes area, there may be occasions where you may be required to assist loading on our waste and recycling collection rounds.
On occasions the post holder may be asked to work at other depots or locations, or to carry out other associated work. The nature of the work means that the post holder will come into contact with members of the public, and a polite and helpful approach is essential.
