Trainee Fire Stopper

You will train to become an accredited Fire Stopper. We are looking for hardworking, keen individuals who are Health and Safety aware with commitment and enthusiasm to succeed.

**The Trainee Fire Stopper role**:

- You will receive on the job training and support to complete Fire Stopping Installations to fire doors and small to large penetrations.
- You will be working in flats/houses/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spaces.
- To ensure all work is completed to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations.
- You will consistently achieve agreed performance targets, always seeking to develop and succeed
- Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as comply with best practice standards
- You will work towards IFC accreditation in fire stopping (breach & penetration sealing) and an NVQ
- To represent Ian Williams in a professional and friendly manner when talking to customers and internal stakeholders, always.

**What will you bring as a Trainee Fire Stopper?**
- You will hold a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle (a company Van will be provided for shared business use)
- Experience of working in a construction related environment with good awareness of site Health & Safety would be very advantageous.
- You will have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Motivated and initiative-taking in your approach to work with the ability to work to individual and team targets, **but most of all you will be eager to learn**
