**About the Role**:
The Quality Controller will work closely under the direction of the Quality Manager who is responsible for the quality compliance of the organisation to customer and regulatory requirements, on a large range of quality assurance and control activities to ensure our KPIs are achieved.

**Tasks**:

- Responsible for maintaining and updating quality systems
- Conduct internal Product, Process & System Audits to AS9100, NADCAP & customer requirements
- Support the Quality Manager with Surveillance & Certification Quality Management System audits
- Control of organisation stamps, vision tests and competency records
- Management of the calibration system & process
- Support the organisations short term & long-term Quality Strategy
- Support & liaise with customers on Quality Assurance provisions
- Support periodic business quality reviews
- Provide training on quality assurance, control, and supply chain requirements
- Review customer and regulatory standards / specifications for QMS compliance
- Assist in the raising of orders for sub-contract work to specification, and review test reports/drawings/dimension reports on completion
- Writing of quality documentation, certification, and reports, as and when required
- Minimum GCSE Grade 5/C English, and Grade 5/C Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
- Computer Literacy - Microsoft Office Software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

**Salary**: From £27,000.00 per year
