Job description

**Quality Control Inspector**

Conducts a variety of complex examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components, parts at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards

Previous **quality inspection experience** is essential for this role.

Excellent Attention to Detail.

Proven experience/knowledge in metals inspection.

Be **competent in reading** detailed and complex **component drawings and engineering drawings**

Writing detailed reports on the results of testing and other observations about the product and comparing them with the finished product

Check incoming goods documentation for accuracy to PO & requested production standard.

The use of **measuring equipment** is essential for this role

Calibrating measuring equipment and measuring testing variables.

Measuring using a high definition scanner (FARO)

Undertake Hydrostatic testing

**Audit** the methods and equipment manufacturing employees use during production and giving them advice to correct errors and increase efficiency

Assessing concrete surfaces

Liaising with the customers Audit team

Accept or reject items following the **agreed inspection criteria**

Carry out general administration duties including raising of SCAR’s / NCR, review of inspection criteria for new parts.

**Assist in other areas of the factory as and when required**, this will include, but not be limited to;
Organising areas of work, cleaning down, assisting the Casting, Batching and Goods-in areas. Provide cover for Laboratory Technician
