A major infrastructure provider has an opportunity for an Asset Reliability Manager to join their team covering projects in Kent.
The purpose of the role is to lead a multidiscipline team of asset engineers to develop maintenance and operational strategies across civil, electrical, mechanical and process assets.
The Asset Reliability Manager will deploy a methodical risk-based approach to drive improvements in asset reliability and deliver targets for customer satisfaction, the environment, health, and safety.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Asset Reliability responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership and to the Asset Reliability Engineers
Drive proactive maintenance strategies in the regions
Drive legislative maintenance activities for COAR, COSHH, DSEAR, EAWR, GSIUR, LEGIONELLA, LOLER, OSR, PSSR, PUWER, RRFSO and ensure periodic review of changes in legislation.
Assess effectiveness of the asset management policy, strategy and all other enterprise documents championed by the asset reliability team and articulate improvement plans.
Foster proactive engagement and communication with key stakeholder teams across projects / asset integration, operations, maintenance, asset planning and other wider stakeholders.
Ensure industry best practices are adopted in the reliability engineering for assets across all core engineering disciplines: Civil, Electrical, ICA, Mechanical, and Process.
Ensure development of appropriate technical content of O&M training, technical standards for field personnel and provide specialist engineering support for underperforming sites.

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will ideally be educated to Degree level in an engineering discipline and will be able to demonstrate experience managing engineering teams
Experienced in analysing, designing, operating, maintaining, managing or constructing assets is essential, this could be across multi disciplines; civil, electrical, mechanical or process engineering.
