_**Storyville House Limited**_is a residential home, where care and support is provided to elderly adults who are recruiting a Kitchen Assistant.

This position is for 18 hours per week, working 3 days from 8am-2.30pm.

Duties will include:

- Washing and storing dishes and utensils
- Sorting and distributing ingredients
- Helping to prepare food and desserts
- Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
- Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
- Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
- Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
- Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
- Observing cooking times and correct temperatures

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
