Gerrard White Consulting is currently looking for a Contract Infrastructure Analyst for an initial six month term Inside IR35 providing 3rd line support involving both BAU and potentially project work as directed for a leading insurance group of companies.

Key Tasks:

- Working with our service desk and other 3rd line teams as needed to resolve escalated tickets.
- Accountable for the support of the infrastructure across the group.
- To ensure regular health checks and appropriate patching is carried out on the infrastructure.
- To ensure all aspects of the infrastructure and group systems are actively monitored.
- To ensure the right level of documentation is created, available and maintained throughout the environment.
- Excellent understanding of the commercial and business impact of IT outages with the business.
- Carry out performance/capacity planning for the IT Infrastructure as required.
- To work with 3rd party support services as required.

Key Competencies:

- Experience of Technical problem solving from a complex environment
- Ability to manage multiple streams of work under pressure.
- The ability to automate what are traditionally iterative manual tasks
- Windows AD
- Powershell & Scripting
- MS Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, DFSr
- Windows SCCM.
- Networking and Firewall experience
- Backup technologies inc Rubrik
- Azure and cloud infrastructure

Desirable Skills:

- Hyper Converged Data centre experience
- Azure MFA
- Citrix Virtual EUC experience inc Citrix Cloud
- Office 365 inc Teams optimization
- Exchange 2013 / 2016
- Mimecast
- Citrix SDX chassis (ADC / Netscalers)
- Service Now exposure
- Storage Area Networks (HPE & Tintri)
- Monitoring platforms Solarwinds
- Professional qualifications that support your experience
- Dev Ops or Cloud based experience (Azure, GCP)
