**Infrastructure Manager**:

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for providing excellent IT Services throughout the organisation and managing day-to-day infrastructure issues and play a lead role in the delivery of Infrastructure systems that support the organisation’s ServiceLevel Agreements ( SLA’s). The role is instrumental in working with the support / Infrastructure teams and delivering improvements in customer support and experience, while maintaining inventories for both hardware and software.

**Infrastructure Manager - About the role**:
The Infrastructure Manager role will primarily be office based in the Chesterfield office,( some remote working is available) working closely with a small team of technical engineers who provide effective solutions to escalated technical issues and providea high level of technical expertise to the business.

As Infrastructure Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the team performs to the highest levels and SLA commitments are met with exceptional customer service and deliver KPIs and operational / business plans. You will be involved in managing complexIT issues ( incidents and problems) and critical IT outages. You will need to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to take ownership of incidents, whilst ensuring issues are being prioritized and resolved effectively.

This role reports directly to the Head of IT and will ideally need some technical understanding of some of the following technologies: Networking, VMWare, Citrix, O365, Cloud,

**Infrastructure Manager - Key Responsibilities**:
- Reviewing technical IT incidents / problems and IT outages, with a view to create efficient support solutions.
- Be focal point for Infrastructure support team, ensuring high standards are consistently preserved, recognising strengths and weaknesses and acting on them. Some mentoring of support team to analyse and implement suitable solutions.
- Manage all day-to-day Infrastructure issues and prioritise maintenance, design, development and analysis of all ICT systems ( Security, WAN/ LAN, Wireless, Internet)
- Management of the Group’s Disaster Recovery Plan
- Management of all data security services, ensuring data remains secure and follows company policy
- Deliver reports on strategies to maintain server infrastructure
- Ability to highlight and implement service improvements, working with stakeholders across the business, Incident & Problem Management functions and 3rd parties.
- Make sure team follow best practice and internal processes, following governance that aligns with the organisation
- Establishing and negotiating SLAs, and making sure that contracts are in place to support the services provided by the infrastructure team
- Establish strong relationships with 3rd party suppliers, which includes negotiating access agreements, establishing SLAs, and contracts are in place that supports the infrastructure services.

- Essential Skills**:

- Proven track record in delivering an excellent service to customers and key stakeholders
- Previous experience of managing a technical team
- Good understanding of Networking, Servers, Microsoft Applications, Windows technology, VMWare, Cloud, SAN, Firewalls
- Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation
- Previous experience of managing technical change within an organisation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Comprehensive understanding of risk & data management, business continuity and disaster recovery
- Financial management and understanding of project governance
