**Duties**:

- Delivering 1:1 support in the classroom with the possibility of small group support.
- Provision of appropriate additional learning support to learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Achievement of learning outcomes, by learners receiving additional learning support, as detailed in individual learning plans.
- Good communication between learning support and curriculum staff resulting in seamless additional learning support delivered to all entitled learners in the most appropriate manner and location.

**Skills/experience**:

- You will have experience or the potential to become an outstanding learning support assistant.
- Experience of supporting individuals to achieve their goals.
- Well organised and hold an excellent range of communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
- Level 2 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent desirable.
