Hyde has a vacancy for a part time Housing Officer working 20 hours a week.

ResidentServices work closely with our customers, providing housing services, housing management and first-class customer care.

As a Housing Officer, you will be working within resident services to provide an effective building & facilities management service across the Sheltered Housing Scheme.

**Duties of a Scheme Officer**
- Assist with the management of ASB complaints, damage to property, breach of lease/tenancy
- Respond promptly to resolve resident queries and complaints
- Carry out regular building inspections, identifying elements of maintenance required, report repairs and implement works
- Carry out required health and safety duties including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting testing and complete all fire testing logs.
- Check and follow up actions from H&S inspections and audits.
- Update the database accurately to manage and maintain customer data
- Deal with vulnerable residents assessing health and safety and fire concerns within their homes
- Responsible for the management of communal areas including monitoring of shared facilities, including laundry and guest rooms.
- Completion of Fire Risk Actions, ensuring that evidence is provided in a timely manner on the required systems.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Experience of working in a similar customer focused role
- A Full UK driving license and access to a car
- A willingness to learn about Health and safety and Fire issues relating to sheltered housing
- Proficient IT Skills
